Adidas recently released their lookbook for their upcoming SLVR line for Fall/Winter 2009. What's SLVR? Think of it as a bridge between their Originals line and their high-end Japanese collaborated Y-3 line. SLVR line is a mix of fashion and function. Using innovative construction methods like the 'One Piece Tree' which involves using one piece of fabric shaped by two seams in order to reduce waste. My first impression of this line is it is very sleek with a minimalist flare - few colors with clean shapes and fluid lines. The subtle placement of the iconic 3 stripes helps differentiate it from the sportier Adidas we all have come to know. Lastly, shoe design has always been rather 'ify' with Adidas - thank god they got it right with this line. The shoes are dope and very fashionable.
